We purchased a Schweizer Trailer and we will be using it for our
2-33. We would like to
see how it is secured on the trailer. Does the stabilizer need to be
removed? Please send
pictures of your setup and any fixtures that you are using.

It's been more than 10 years, that I sold my 33 . As far as I
remember, the stab has to come off
because it would be in the way of the wing tips. The fuselage gets
secured at the botom points.
where the strutt goes normally, with the same kind of bolt. There
should be a metal strap on the trailer for that, near where the main
wheel goes. If not, you can make one up or use chains that would take
the strutt bolt. The original Schweizer trailer hat two masts in front
with conections for the 2=33 and the 1-26 wings, again with their own
bolts. There were a couple of cradles for the wings. The tail used to
sit on the rail in the rear, that can be tied there with a rope, When
new there was some kind of hardware for that. If you have the original
Schweizer Trailer It's realy a no brainer.
